Bedfordview is a quiet and leafy suburb of Johannesburg located close to OR Tambo International Airport, making it the ideal stopover for business people dipping into the city only briefly. Offering guests a choice of 15 modern en-suite bedrooms, rooms are furnished with double and single beds and sleep between two and three people.

All rooms are equipped with a TV, telephone and free Wi-Fi. The rooms are cooled with fans and equipped with heaters for the winter. Tea and coffee facilities are also provided. For your privacy, each room also has a private entrance. A lovely continental breakfast is served in the dining area and dinners are available at an additional cost and on arrangement. The lodge features a pool as well as a lounge and a bar area where guests can relax. Laundry services and airport transfers, as well as day tours, can be arranged by the staff on request.

The upmarket neighbourhood of Bedfordview is almost park-like due to the tree-lined streets and lush gardens with prolific bird life. Within a short driving distance are a number of shopping malls, including the epic Eastgate with its myriad of shops, entertainment venues and excellent restaurants, and the Bruma Lake flea market, which is a conversion of an old sewerage catchment area into a lakeside market, mall and commercial parks.

Gillooly’s farm can also be found here. The farm in the middle of the city, with its tranquil atmosphere, is very popular amongst locals for picnics along the lake under the trees. There are also some wonderful views over the Kensington valley and the northern suburbs from here.
