Description

Hartbeespoort Eco Lodge & Boutique Backpackers is situated just 20 minutes out of the city. We offer self-catering, boutique hotel-style backpackers accommodation at a fraction of the cost of a bed and breakfast or hotel. This exceptional lodge caters to the taste of the seasoned backpacker who, because of experience, can be more discerning. It is not a converted house, but rather a boutique-style compound developed from scratch with the international traveller in mind. Allow us to show you the true South African hospitality and personal care you deserve without the stiff upper lip.

This is also the perfect venue for a dream wedding, a matric farewell, birthday party, year-end functions, and Christmas parties. We cater for all functions, big or small, at surprisingly reasonable rates. Just let us know what you need and we will orchestrate the rest.

It is not difficult to see why the ancients chose this as their favourite sacred place and why we keep coming back to it as if drawn by instinct. A visit to South Africa is not complete without a visit to this vast area where our quest for sustainable development can be seen in all that we do. The people of Kameeldrift and Hartbeespoort are just a stone`s throw from the bustling metropole of Pretoria, but everywhere nature is revered.

The Duiker Suite is a single-storey cabin with a private verandah and can accommodate up to three guests. The suite contains a bunk bed with a double bed on the bottom and a single bed on top and this cabin makes use of the communal ablution block, with hot showers and unisex toilets, as well as the communal kitchen with its newly fitted stove, oven and hob, a microwave, and kettle.

We loved it. Awesome customer service. the staff was so warm and friendly. The lodge is easily accessible and the rooms are very cosy and clean. We would certainly be happy to stay there again.
