Located in the heart of Queen Elizabeth National Park and conveniently situated for wildlife viewing and Kyambura chimp tracking, Elizabeth Bush Lodge forms an excellent base for your safari. The small-scale set-up built along ecological principals and the unique setting, where animals room in and out the camp, offers a unique opportunity to experience a safari as it once was in East Africa.

The lodge currently consists of six self-contained units which are spaciously placed between the indigenous bush. The rooms are made from a fine combination of canvas and local materials, and are built to ensure the best views on the seasonal Kamera River. Each room features its own private en-suite bathroom with an eco toilet and an outside shower where two shower-heads allow couples to take their starlit shower together.

As the bush lodge is located just outside the National Park, we can offer guests a walking safari through our surroundings. Several circuits through the open savannah or along the crater lakes of Queen Elizabeth National Park rewards visitors with a marvellous safari experience. In addition, the riverine forest of Kyambura gorge is home to a habituated chimp community, and guided walking tours, organized by UWA, offer a chance to see these and other primates in their natural habitat.
