Eagle House is an entertainer's dream with stunning views of the Knysna Lagoon, a private pool and fantastic entertainment facilities for adults and children alike. The property's location could not be better. Occupying an elevated but sheltered north facing position at the top of Knysna’s Eastern Head, it offers uninterrupted views across Leisure Isle and the Featherbed Nature Reserve to the Outeniqua Mountains beyond.

Arranged on three floors, Eagle House is comfortably furnished, very well equipped and it offers flexible accommodation. The main residence is on the top two floors and it can sleep nine people in four bedrooms. There is a self-contained apartment on the lower floor which opens up onto the deck and pool area. It sleeps a further two guests. The main residence can be booked on its own or with the apartment.

The bright, sunny main residence comprises a street-level entrance hall with a guest toilet and study leading onto the spacious living, dining and lounge areas. The kitchen and laundry room offer every modern convenience including a five-ring gas hob plus a separate two-ring gas hob next to preparation sink. There is a double oven, fridge-freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster, cutlery and crockery. The adjoining utility room contains a washing machine and extra storage space. The adjoining dining area comfortably seats six people and leads onto the verandah with its breathtaking lagoon views. The comfortable lounge has sofas, armchairs, a coffee table and a TV with DStv and a DVD player.

As the verandah enjoys a sheltered north facing aspect, it is the ideal place to soak up the sun and enjoy the scenery. In addition to sun loungers, there is an outside dining table and six chairs plus a built-in braai. A door from the laundry area leads to an impressively large games room with a pool table, dartboard, bar, upholstered bench seating and dining table. It is ideal for children’s hobbies or for family board games. The rates quoted are for the main house only.

The three well-furnished bedrooms are situated on the lower floor. The master bedroom has a queen-size bed, plenty of storage space, a large en-suite bathroom with a bath and separate shower, a dressing table and its own north facing verandah. There is access from the master suite to a kitchenette and children's room with three single beds and a shower room with a toilet. The second bedroom has a queen-size bed, fitted wardrobes and a dressing table. The third bedroom, which can be made up with a king-size bed or twin beds, also has wardrobes and a dressing table. These two rooms share an adjacent bathroom and a separate toilet. Bedroom four has three single beds, a kitchenette and shower room, and it is ideal for children or young adults. The Eagle Apartment is located on a third level below the main residence and is a one-bedroom, self-contained apartment overlooking the pool. In addition to a twin or king-size bedroom, there’s a small open-plan kitchen and diner with a two-ring electric hob and oven, fridge, toaster, kettle, microwave, dining table and portable braai. The lounge area has a two-seater sofa, armchairs, a coffee table and a TV with DStv.
