About Duwisib Guest Farm

Duwisib Guest Farm is situated directly next to Duwisib Castle on the edge of the Namib desert and is the perfect stopover en route to Sossusvlei, Luderitz or the Fish-River Canyon. The Duwisib Castle is a historical monument situated in the heart of our 6,000-hectare farmland and is only a short stroll from our accommodation and campsite. With scenic views and camel thorn trees, it is no wonder the Baron decided to build his fortress at this special location.

Duwisib offers seven double en-suite rooms, self-catering units and camping in our new campsite. Our cosy and clean rooms will ensure a relaxing stay with views of the castle and surrounding mountains. We also offer clean and well-maintained campsites shaded by beautiful camel thorn trees.

In addition, day visitors can enjoy refreshments at our coffee shop. Try our well-known apple pie and watch the ostriches from close by.

We were amazed by the friendliness of the owner and the beautiful farm surroundings. The view of the night sky was incomparable with no light pollution. The Springbock cottage was spacious and very neat. The hot water from the wood-fired "donkey" geyser was a special treat during the cold weather!

What a beautiful setting with the best Namibian hospitality. Food from the heart at the restaurant. Personal attention by the owner and comfortable accommodation.

Wonderful outdoor experience. No city lights to compete with the stars! The rooms was clean and comfortable. The mattresses in our chalets were unfortunately very worn out, but the beds in the guest rooms are new and comfortable. Apart from that, we really enjoyed our stay!
