Die Hut is situated on a lovely farm in Morreesburg, a tranquil and friendly little town approximately 85 km from Cape Town. The town is very peaceful and quiet, perfect for a relaxing stay.

The farm offers a guest house with six rooms, a restaurant with a licensed bar, a great wedding venue with chapel facilities, a swimming pool and large lawns for the kids. Not only is Morreesburg the heart of a strong farming community, but it also has one of three wheat museums in the world.

Neulfonteinkop is in fact a hill just outside town upon which sits an old ship’s cannon, used in days gone by to alert farmers to newly docked ships in Cape Town’s harbour. There is a welcome hike on the hill and the Misverstand Dam is very popular for water sports with locals and visitors alike.

There is also a restaurant and function venue on the premises.

Very simple but clean. Could of supplied bit more tea and milk goodies. Had problem with no window. The overall fine as we attending a wedding. By the the way the food and venue were lovely.

Wedding Venues: This is the ideal wedding venue as there is a chapel on site as well as a licensed bar. All catering is done on the farm.
