The property is nestled in the Piesang Valley along a kilometre of the river bank. You will wake to the tranquillity of lush gardens and abundant bird life, yet are a stone throw from the convenience of town and a mere 1. 5 km from Plett’s famous Robberg and Central Beaches.

We have 39 beautifully appointed, spacious en-suite rooms. All are equipped with both bath and shower and have private terraces that lead into the gardens. Private safes, Dstv, tea and coffee stations, fans and heaters are provided to ensure the comfort of our guests. We have wheelchair friendly rooms and the entire hotel is accessible by wheelchair. Daily laundry services are also available.

A full country breakfast is served every morning, inclusive. Lunches are available from our à-la-carte menu and these can be enjoyed by the pool or on our patio overlooking the gardens and magnificent mountains.

By night, our gourmet chefs will satisfy the most discerning of guests with international cuisine as well as South African and Cape specialties. We are renowned for our seafood specials, which are complemented by a wide selection of South Africa’s finest wines from our large cellar. Pre-dinner drinks can be enjoyed beside the pool as the sun sets around you, or inside at our exclusive ladies bar.

On site activities include swimming, fishing, canoeing, tennis and horse riding. Plettenberg Bay Golf Club is just across the road, Goose Valley Golf Estate is 5 km away and the Pezula, Simola and Knysna golf courses are all within 30 km.

The Crescent Country Hotel has 39 spacious and beautifully appointed rooms. 10 of the rooms are located in the hotel, eight rooms make up the Riley House Guest House and the other 21 rooms are situated throughout the garden. All rooms lead onto a private terrace and into the rose gardens. They are complete with en-suite bathrooms with both a shower and a bath, private safes, DStv, tea and coffee making-facilities, fans and heaters. A daily laundry service is available to all guests.
