At Rapunzel’s Tower you will have the entire castle at your disposal, where you will be treated like royalty. Your eyes can feast on the décor and object de art that was carefully hand-picked from all over the world to tantalize the senses. Cornerstones from Windsor Castle, tapestries from Dubai, light fittings from America, and tiles from Europe all contribute to an unbelievable experience. Guests are treated to a spectacular view of Mount Horeb and, in the evening, the lights of Clarens look like stars that have fallen to the valley below. The garden is especially designed to fit in with the Rapunzel fairytale, with thorn trees, small pathways and, of course, a vegetable garden.

The lounge contains an impressive and very dramatic fireplace adorned with cherubs in an antique gold finish. The size of the fireplace will ensure that even the coldest Clarens night is comfortable, cosy and warm. In addition, the lounge is equipped with a small library and games to provide entertainment during those long, lazy days.

The reason why the kitchen is so well equipped can be found in the fairytale. With all those wonderful herbs and exotic flowers at her disposal, Dame Gothel surely could cook up a storm. Inside the gothic-style cupboards, you will find everything from a garlic press to waterless stainless steel pots to ensure that every meal is a masterpiece. The castle is serviced daily and breakfast is available at an additional charge and can be delivered to your door.

The Chamber of Angels was specifically designed for guests to enjoy the heavenly views while preparing a sizzling barbecue . Surrounded by various angels dating back to the Gothic era and guarded by the Angel of the Sky, guests are invited to relax in the plush patio furniture provided.
