CasaCabana Beach

CasaCabana Beach is a small, very private lodge situated within crawling distance of the beach. We offer three types of accommodation; the Luxury Cabanas include a self-catering kitchen on the wooden deck, air-conditioning and a full selection of DStv channels. These units feature a main bedroom with stacking doors between the sleeping area, and the kitchen and lounge located on the deck. There is a small bedroom towards the rear of the unit containing a double bunk bed which is ideal for children but is also adequate for adults. No expense has been spared in ensuring a comfortable stay for our guests, including top of the range hotel mattresses, linen and pillows.

The buildings comprise four units, with two Luxury Cabanas upstairs and two Deluxe Units downstairs. These units are not self-catering, but do come with coffee and tea-making facilities, a bar fridge, air-conditioning, and four poster beds throughout. Naturally, all beds are covered with mosquito nets and each cabana has a Brazilian-style hammock. Each four cabana unit also boasts a private pool and barbecue area. In addition, guests are provided with two bottles of water, milk and a continental breakfast which can be served at the pool or at the rooms.

The house, which is available for stays, is rated by many to be the most beautiful in Vilankulos. The house has been built with a Mexican flavour in mind, with high concrete ceilings, two en-suite bedrooms, a lounge which houses a handmade pool table and adjoins a fully-equipped kitchen. Up the flight of stairs is the wide-flowing deck where guests can pause and admire the magnificent views.

The master bedroom has a magnificent four poster, extra length king-size bed with an open-plan bathroom and a tub big enough for four. Entrance to the room is guarded by a 2.5m high carved Moroccon-style double door. Alcoves abound with examples of the best indigenous artwork that can be found in Mozambique. The second bedroom is similarly decorated with an en-suite shower, and both rooms have air-conditioning and bedding as previously described. The main bedroom also features DStv. The house has its own private pool, which is shielded from the rest of the property. A maximum of six can be accommodated, with extra beds placed in the lounge.
