Boutique @ 10 is a unique accommodation located on the edge of Camps Bay's central ravine, perfectly centered above Camps Bay Beach, with full view of the white beach sands being swept clean by the blue Atlantic Ocean, coupled with uninterrupted panoramic views of the coastal landscape and ocean from north to south as far as the eye can see. Yet only a 10 to 15 minute walk down to Camps Bay Beach and its famous restaurant strip.
Positioned in the heart of Camps Bay on the Atlantic Seaboard the boutique is just a 5-minute drive to the Table Mountain Cable Car Station, 10-minute drive to Cape Town CBD and V and A Waterfront. We are 20 minutes from Cape Town International Airport and a leisurely and scenic 30-minute drive to the Cape of Good Hope, the Cape Winelands or the many beautiful golf courses that the Cape has to offer.
The boutique style villa originally built in 1955 and remodeled 35 years later by its second and current owners, Jennifer and Beach, features four guest suites. It's open and spacious design leans towards old school, with a variety of rich woods, large arched windows, brass wall lamps and the original wrought-iron balustrade that were, with great care, removed from the historical Sea Point President Hotel, that was demolished back in the early 90s.
To ensure guests comfort, all suites, which are serviced daily, include 32 to 40 inch LCD flat screens, Wi-Fi connectivity, air-conditioning for room climate control, electronic safes, hairdryers, tea and coffee trays and en-suites with shower and/or bath. Three of the guest suites feature beds that can be made into two singles or a king-size, while the Ocean Suite offers a stylish, king-size wooden sleigh bed designed and hand designed by a good friend. All are draped in pure white linen and splashed with colourful throws, extra length pillows, scatter cushions and are dressed with goose down duvets and flat sheets.
Sliding glass doors lead to a large common outdoor balcony for the Ocean and Lions Head Suites on the upper level. The Deck Suite opens up to the main pool deck and Beach Suite has a private entrance and private garden patio. Both are located on the main level of the house and can accommodate a third single bed on request, third person supplement R400 per night.
A light and healthy breakfast of coffee or tea, fresh juice, toast and cereals, eggs, cheese, yoghurt and seasonal fruit, is served in the main lounge which flows onto the main wooden pool deck making a spacious and inviting area to eat and lounge in. Five large double doors open up from the lounge onto the deck to allow nature’s beauty, the fresh ocean breeze and the sounds of birds blend into the essence of pleasure and relaxation, which is the Bay Atlantic Boutique Bed and breakfast. The guest lounge with the original stonewall and rustic fireplace warms the body on cool evenings while a glass of Cape wine warms the soul, you may just never want to leave.

Character: The Bay Atlantic was the third house built on the hill in the old Camps Bay below Camps Bay Drive, dead centre to Camps Beach and designed as a mirror image to the main bay's curve.

The Beach Suite is separate, but still connected to the main house through a Tuscany-like passage, leading into the main house open-plan kitchen area. It features a king-size or twin beds, air-conditioning for desired temperature control, an en-suite with shower, small kitchenette, a 37 cm LCD TV, safe, a standing floor fan, and hairdryer. There is a Mediterranean-feel this suite, with ambience lighting to enhance its calming aura. The Atlantic Ocean is viewed through two sash windows that face west and tunnel through a passage of archways giving you the feeling of privacy and solitude. Guests can walk through a private entrance into the arched passageway which leads to the private deck and garden area with wooden loungers under large protecting pine trees. This area is sprinkled with sun rays and overlooks a ravine teeming with nature, that stretches to the ocean. The Bay Atlantic bed and breakfast herb and vegetable garden lies just meters away.

The Lion's Head Suite boasts amazing views of Lion's Head, framed through arched windows on the north side of the suite and the Atlantic Ocean, due west and south-west, through large sliding doors that open onto the vast upper deck area. Through the high narrow window behind the bed, which can be made up either as twins or a king-size, guests can view the Table Mountain Cableway. This, the largest of the three suites, features a spacious en-suite bathroom with a shower, a 37 cm LCD TV, safe, hairdryer, tea and coffee tray, and air-conditioning. The floors are made of beautifully preserved Oregon pine wood dating back to the early 1900's. The simple headboard and side tables, made out of the same large beams by a local old school craftsman, gives the room a warm charm that entices you to sit back and watch the paragliders gently glide off the slopes of Lion's Head, or gaze at the waves rolling in onto the beautiful white sand of Camps Bay Beach. The gentle sound of the waves can be heard as they echo up the greenbelt and ravine into the room.

A king-size Oregon pine sleigh bed, crafted by a good friend, faces north-west to views of the slopes of Lion's Head and the rocky shoreline of Maiden's Cove. Large sliding glass doors open onto the upper deck. The west facing sliding glass door opens up to uninterrupted views of the greenbelt ravine that winds down the slopes onto Camps Bay Beach and the rolling Atlantic Ocean.
