Nestled at the foothills of the indigenous Black Forest and in the shade of a beautiful tipuana tree, you will find the German-style Black Forest Mountain Lodge. Imagine yourself on a cold, cosy evening enjoying the crackling warmth of our lounge fireplace, or alternatively snuggling up in your warm and cosy bed. In the hot summer months, you can enjoy our peaceful and tranquil gardens. Sit and enjoy a drink under one of our beautiful shady trees or take a walk through our enchanting chestnut orchard.
The old Zeederberg Farmhouse has five spacious bedrooms with private bathrooms. Cuddle up in warm, snuggly duvets and imagine you are in the Alps. We also have two self-catering cabins which sleep four and three guests respectively. Campsites are available for the more adventurous and they feature a fully equipped kitchen with self-catering facilities, and an ablution block.
Stable your own horse and hack until the tranquil beauty engulfs your soul; we'll supply a stable, some hay and buckets of fresh water for your equine friend. Play volleyball or croquet on the front lawn, canoe on our dam and watch the ducks go by, sit on a chair, or explore the garden and enjoy true peace and quiet. Take a walk through the Black Forest or Forest Glen and enjoy scenery unique to the Magoebaskloof area. For the fishermen, fishing in local rivers and the Ebenezer Dam can be enjoyed.
