Big Time Camp in Kenya welcomes you to a different world; a world centred at the heart of the African wilderness that is Kenya's Masai Mara, a world of majestic animals, dazzling birds, sweeping grasslands, flat-topped trees, and breathtaking sunsets.
To experience a traditional luxury camp is a must on a Masai Mara safari. Unfenced and secluded in a thicket of Euclea and African Olives, the camp impinges so little on the natural inhabitants of this prolific reserve. The camp comprises 27 moderate luxurious en-suite tents, taking in the wonderful surroundings of the Mara plain. Each tent has a private bathroom with toilet, and an outdoor shower with a view of the sky. The water is heated by generator and there is 24-hour electricity in all tents.
Camp facilities also include a restaurant, bar, and lounge. Our resident chef offers a wide range of food, and Kenya’s own traditional cooking is also served alongside the African continent’s finest wines. The bar has a relaxed and friendly atmosphere and is an ideal place to relax after a day of sight-seeing. These facilities each have stone fireplaces, focal points in the cool of the evening.
Activities on offer include exciting game drives, bush hikes and walks, cultural village visits, and balloon rides over the plains.
