Bayhouse is a 4 Star, double-storey, self-catering holiday home with six bedrooms, nestled on Leisure Island on the famous Knysna Lagoon with 50 meters of prime beach frontage and arguably one of the best views of the lagoon and Famous Knysna Heads.

If you prefer a spacious, self-catering house to a hotel room, then the Bayhouse is for you. A double storey home on Leisure Island, a private retreat within the famous Knysna Lagoon, it opens out onto 50m of private beach and boasts stunning views of the Heads. The town of Knysna is just 10 minutes away with its bustling waterfront, so you are not far from an array of restaurants, bars, cafes and entertainment options. The house offers reams of space, with 6 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms and 3 lounges spread across two floors. The main lounge boasts a fireplace, open-plan dining room and bar/breakfast counter area. If you need it, there is satellite TV, a DVD player, books and games galore.

While away the days on the outdoor patio with a sparkling swimming pool and barbeque area, complete with wooden table and benches for al fresco dining or spend the evening around the fire pit with family and friends. There is a fully equipped kitchen and scullery with a range of basic supplies. The six bedrooms can be configured as twins or doubles, each reflecting the whitewashed feel of a seaside retreat, and there are additional facilities for babies and infants. There is a garage which can host two cars and extra off-street parking for two more vehicles. The house can accommodate a maximum of 10 people and can be booked for a minimum of four, with the charge being per person, not for the whole house.

The island connects to the mainland with a causeway, just 10 minutes from town so you can join the crowds when you feel like it.
