A Blue Horizon

The most amazing 40th birthday with memories I will treasure a lifetime. Thank you for an unforgettable experience and the dolphins were amazing.

Absolutelty wonderful - the best view ever, brilliant set up, everything we need. We would love to go back again and again.

We had the pleasure of staying for a short period with all my children at Blue Horizon to celebrate my upcoming 50th birthday. The view, place and surrounding were absoluteley awesome, would love to spend every weekend there, a place to go relax and chill. The house was everything you could ask for, especially the views. Again, awesome!

As seasoned travellers to South Africa, we have our normal stop-off points that we know and enjoy. However, this trip was to be slightly different. We were supposed to be escorting a bunch of first time Aussies - my mates). So I took a chance on a nice looking picture that said they had a lot of beds. The booking was made and the mates didn't turn up, so we went it alone. When we pulled off the N2 to pick up the key from Penny at the local farm stall, we instantly found the stall right in front of us. Penny gave us the key and a few select instructions on the 5 km trip to get to the site, as well as an apology for the state of the road we were about to travel. Undeterred we set off and after about 3 km of rough travel I was asking myself which level of hell we were about to descend into? Then it happened. We hit the bitumen again, turned right and had to stop the car in sheer astonishment. There were the houses, perched on the cliffs and overlooking some of the best ocean views in South Africa. We easily found the house, and relished the fact that the you actually enter the house from the back - directly onto the top floor! Walking into the log cabin-style rooms we were knocked out by the instant view from the lounge window and raced out to the balcony. Coast to the left of me, coast to the right, and nothing in front but the ocean and the hope that Australia will win the next world cup! What a view! The dining room, lounge and master bedrooms have pristine views of the ocean. The house actually comes with an excellent washing machine, dryer, massive fridge, and a fully functioning kitchen. Downstairs there are three bedrooms and separate toilet facilities, all with ocean views as well. With its central location to a multitude of top class tourist and not-so-tourist attractions, A Blue Horizon" is at the top of self-catering venues that any visitor could hope for. Just stay away in August each year as thats when I'm heading back there and I don't need the booking competition.

Met ons aankoms was ons werklik verras met die uitsonderlike plek, om nie eens te praat van die asemrowende uitsig nie!!! Ons het almal so lekker gebly dat ons nie een wou vertrek nie. Die huis het alles in wat 'n mens nodig het. Dit voel werklik soos jou eie huis. Ons sal defnitief weer hier kom bly. FANTASTIES!!!!
