Where our bed and breakfast was situated,the area was quite peaceful and within walking distance from the beach and small shops if you needed anything,With regards to the "town" area,It was very busy and very dirty,not a good sight when passing through,which is why we rather chose to drive the distance to the malls or supermarkets that were much cleaner,A positive thing of quigney was the good food at Windmill definitely a place to try!

The area is situated near to the city centre. It's very noisy (many students where I was) & it is old & rundown and not very clean. It's close to the beachfront tho, a walking distance. There aren't many attractions in the area.

Me and my wife visited Quigney twice in space of four months. we stayed for a week fisrt time and them 3 days second time. i used local mini taxis to tour the area, went to the hemmingsway mall etc. People in that area still have respect and love and care. there were times where me and my wife had to walk to buy some food late in the night but did not experience any crime issue. the beach is the only issue cause there is no many places to swim and relax. i feel that the Quigney town management can develop a nice beach with lots of activities, that will attract people to visit East London.

It's a small quiet suburb with good surroundings and amenities in close proximity, don't talk about the places that sell food like the Windmill, whoow splendid and others not to mention the different treats, it's just so fantastic. The place is well kept, being clean and free from any litter that one would encounter in other parts of the country.

Quigney needs municipal maintenance and has deteriorated in the last five years. It is ideal due to Orient Beach which is safe for the family and has good breakers.
