Three scheduled international cargo flights and several impromptu freighters are serviced every week. Kisumu Airport is situated on the shores of Lake Victoria, the largest fresh water lake in Africa. One of Kenya’s busiest airports, it services Kisumu, the centre of trade between East African countries. Lokichoggio Airport in the town of Lokichoggio, lies in very close proximity to the countries of South Sudan and Uganda. This civilian airport is home to one of the world's biggest humanitarian aid projects. These aid groups – the World Food Program (WFP) and the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), run global aid projects to the neighbouring country of South Sudan.

Malindi Airport serves the popular coastal destinations of Watamu Beach and Malindi. It is situated 120 km northeast of Mombasa and 412 km southeast of Nairobi-Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, Kenya’s largest civilian airport. www.kenyaairports.co.ke

Situated on Manda Island in the Lamu Archipelago, Manda Airstrip services light aircraft flights and is currently unmanned. Moi International Airport services a remarkable amount of aviation traffic with more than eighteen airlines flying directly between Europe and Mombasa. One of the top ten busiest airports in Africa, Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) is Kenya's largest flight service. Hosting 49 scheduled airlines; JKIA services direct flight connections to Europe, the Middle East, Far East and Africa. It forms the main hub for Kenya Airways, JetLink Express and Fly540. Formerly known as Embakasi Airport and Nairobi International Airport, JKIA is situated 18 km from Nairobi's CBD in Embakasi, an outlying southeastern suburb of Nairobi. The Mombasa Highway is the main access route between the city and the airport. Wajir Airport operates daily from 06:30 to 18:30 hours and services both propeller and jet engine aircraft. Considered an international airport, the runway is equipped to accommodate incoming and outgoing global aviation traffic.
