Uninteresting - There's really not much to recommend here. I suppose some people would find it 'charming', but so are dozens of other Western Cape towns. This one seems stuck in a greater time warp than most. Move on.
- A lovely getaway for the weekend, nice to walk the streets and the coffee shops, stunning hikes and the best for a cycling weekend.

Time to take a break - Beautiful little town with a great mix of things to do and relaxation in nature.
A gem off the beaten track - Wonderful little town to visit on weekends, a short 1 1/2 or 2 hr drive from Cape Town. Try the produce market on Saturday mornings. The various mountain biking routes around the town are also excellent: enquire at the Oak and Vigne restaurant.
Great Greyton - Greyton is a beautiful gem in the heart of the Overberg. It is wonderfully peaceful, but also offers outdoor activities for adrenalin junkies. Luckily it has not been commercialised yet but is close enough to other big towns like Hermanus and Caledon that you can get everything that you need within an hour.
Greyton - Wonderful place to get away to.
Friendly town with friendly people.
Wonderful fresh produce market on Saturdays
Interesting village - Good place to escape stress.
A gem at the end of the road. - Paradise still exists!

Magic 31st December 2013 - What a fantastic magical evening! Best ever New Year's eve!
Greyton - a Van Gogh masterpiece! - The picturesque village of Greyton is another Overberg gem that is less than a two-hour drive from Cape Town. Renowned for its sheep, wheat and canola farming, July is a great time to visit the Overberg, as the fields are alive with newborn lambs and hues of green and gold so intense that you can be forgiven for thinking you have stepped into a Van Gogh masterpiece.

Perfect Hideaway - Greyton is my favourite long weekend getaway. With great running trails and mountain bike trail it's perfect for a training weekend away. Filled with Amazing restaurants for post exercise recovery, the Post House has a great little bar and my favourite restaurant in town Searle's especially on a hot summer's night. (spent New Year's Eve there last year and was stunning)
Great fro retirement - Would love to retire in Greyton. Just a pity everything is so expensive! Enjoyed the peace and tranquility and the beautiful walks.
Beautiful town - It is the most beautiful town I've ever been to, with horses walking down the paths at night. All the houses are stunning and well maintained. There are very nice restaurants with friendly people.
Great stopover on the way to Cape Town - We did not have enough time to rate it, but we enjoyed dinner at the unlicensed restaurant without name!

Historic town - One of the best kept secrets in the Western Cape. A really amazing little hamlet; buy fresh and organic foodstuffs from the quaint little shops. Bring your bicycle as everything is within cycling distance. Fantastic gentle walks in the mountains and beautiful rivers make Greyton a must see.
