Directions to Phophonyane Falls Lodge & Nature Reserve

From Kruger National Park: Phophonyane is situated in the north west of Swaziland about 70 kms south of Malelane Gate in the Kruger National Park. Pass through Jeppe’s Reef/Matsamo Border post (07h00-20h00) go 33 kms and pass the Orion Pigg’s Peak Hotel and Casino go another 1.5 km and you will see the sign post on your right. Follow the signs for another 2 kms

From Mbabane: Take the road to Oshoek and take the Pigg’s Peak turn off. Go for another 45 kms and through the town of Pigg’s Peak. After about 7 kms you will see the sign on your left Follow the signs on the dirt road for another 3 km

From Johannesburg: enter at the Oshoek border (07h00-22h00) and take the road to Mbabane, turn off at the Pigg’s Peak turn-off and follow the instructions as above.

From Barberton: Take the road to Josefsdaal/Bulembu border post (0800-1600) and continue to Pigg’s Peak. When reaching Pigg’s Peak turn left (north) at the T-junction and continue for another 7 kms until you see the sign on your left. Please note that the route from Barberton to Bulembu is only partially tarred, and from Bulembu to Pigg’s Peak is gravel. The condition of the road varies.

From northern Kwa Zulu Natal: take the road to Lavumisa (0700-2200) to Big Bend, Manzini, Mbabane and Pigg’s Peak. It is advisable to take the bypass around Manzini and the four lane highway between Manzini and Mbabane.

From Maputo: The fastest route is through Ressano Garcia (depending on the border). Pass Komatipoort on the N4 and turn to the right just after Hectorspruit, continue to Jeppes Reef?
