We went to stay in the honeymoon cottage over new years and we had a wonderful time. The view is out of this world, the bed is extremely comfortable and the location is stunning. The hot tub next to the stream is just the cherry on top!

We really love the location and the place we stayed in. Absolutely amazing. If you want to get away from the city and take a quick break. This is the place! The owners are absolutely amazing, friendly and they very helpful. We got a few amazing recommendations for places to eat and sites to visit. Again, I can stress it enough. We will definitely be back. Love the place, atmosphere and locations. Next time we are bring the while clan. :)

We could have stayed a week! The setting is absolutely magnificent and the accommodation was amazing with a lot of attention to detail. It was the highlight of our whole road trip.

For peace and tranquility, this is definitely the place to go. My wife, daughter and I loved the sound of the river and the beautiful views from our room. Thank you for a lovely stay.

A cosy cottage with great views and sufficient amenities. Not as cosy and honeymoony as advertised. No wood or firefighters supplied. WiFi not working.

This is the most BEAUTIFUL place on earth!!! We have never stayed in a place that was so clean and tidy and just spectacular!!! Felt like we we're home!!! We will DEFENITLY visit again!!! Most Amazing weekend ever!!!

The cottage 1 is nice, clean, roomy and comfortable. However the cooking facilities / the size of the fridge / bathroom is not adequate for the number of people (10) that the cottage can accommodate. Cottage 1 is also semi detached and not sound proof - so if you are there for the quiet it is not pleasant. Beautiful surroundings.

Wonderful place for a weekend getaway. Secluded and peaceful. Would highly recommend.

My hubby and I spent a few days in the honeymoon cottage at Mont Rouge. The surrounding scenery is breathtakingly beautiful. The cottage was very clean and well appointed with lovely views over the orchards. The river running below completed the tranquility and was especially wonderful to listen to at night. The reception we got upon arrival was warm and welcoming. The only negative was the fact that we only got 2 towels for the entire period and they do not provide any complimentary toiletries so make sure you do not forget yours at home although the closest Town is only 12km away.

We loved the cosy set up of the house...but could have had a bigger stove... was a bit difficult to cook for 8 on small oven and stove provided. Could not braai because of the rain .. or maybe braai undercover..

What a beautiful part of the world! Tucked away in the far corner of the valley, Mont Rouge is in a wonderful part of Tulbagh. We stayed in the honeymoon cottage, and loved the privacy, view, and ambience created by the stream running almost beneath the deck. Marisha was very welcoming, and the hospitality was exactly what we'd hoped for. We will definitely be back!

An amazing little piece of paradise.  Had a lovely family weekend away.  Enjoyed everything about the cottage, the farm and the area.

Ideal setting for a weekend away. Stunning views from the stoep. You can sit outside and relax while listening to the tranquil stream. Its stylishly decorated, and it has all the necessities for self catering. We were truly spoilt by the snow covered mountain tops, and kept nice and warm with a cosy fireplace.

This is our second stay here. The tranquility of the gardens and the bird life are what bring us back. The accommodation is clean, comfortable and caters for all your needs.
