We had a lovely short visit at Down to Earth Guesthouse. The visit we had from the monkeys was the high lite of the day.

Beautiful setting as well as our room with its lovely decor.
However: The beds and pillows were very uncomfortable.We hardly slept.
The Tv should have an operation manual as we could not get it to work.
We suggest that you should offer the rooibos tea as well as ordinary tea..The same goes for the coffee. Decaf should also be offered.The lovely hot shower was our saving grace.

The position and accommodation were excellent. We enjoyed a very pleasant stay and would certainly think about coming back. Lovely setting, very relaxing. The room next door's toilet could be heard every time it was flushed, right through the night.

Nice cottage, well presented but surrounding grounds could do with a bit of a tidy up. Beautiful views from our cottage over the fields and out to sea. Friendly staff and nice quiet location for Herolds Bay (short car journey).

We enjoyed our stay over the festive season. It was peaceful and relaxing and only about two minutes drive from the beach. Loved to stay there!
