Little bit of heaven
Lara Noel, South Africa - Monday, 30 May 2016
Wonderful off the beaten tract accommodation, fully kitted out. Would stay here again in preference to anywhere else in the vicinity.
Touristy, but
Carlo Giese, Denmark - Wednesday, 25 June 2014
Take the morning hike, which goes up the mountain behind the house. Lovely surrounding, good service, clean, and a warm showers. Many people loved the place as we could read in the guestbook, but it is not first choice for individualistic tourists I would say. Plenty of activities possible (hiking, biking, etc.)
Goldmine in the desert

This was by far the best place we stayed in our recent visit to Namibia! Excellent service and the quality of the facilities are just top class. Well done and keep this up. We should have stayed longer, but next time I will remember.
Too much
Peet Venter, South Africa - Tuesday, 26 March 2013
The campsite are beautifully marked/fence under a camelthorn trees. Being one of the expensive campsite comparing to the other campsite in Namibia we did expected power and ablution with hot water.. But the Solar powered system at the ablution facilities does not supply enough power for all to use. - Personnaly I think the price we paid for this campsite is way to much.
Something special

A remote and special place. Try the braai package that you grill at your on fireplace. Rather wanna have breakfast at the great buffet; great food. The breakfast platter was tiny. Great people, great place, great vacation. Thank you all.

Beautiful peaceful place
Lynne Grubb, South Africa - Sunday, 08 January 2012
This is an outstanding private cottage made out of natural rock in the middle of nowhere. There was a fully equipped kitchen, and a lounge area with a fireplace - not that we needed it as it was extremely hot. As well as comfy clean beds, and a bathroom with a shower only. We had the braai pack which was awesome, with beautiful salads and meat; much better than going to the restaurant for dinner. Breakfast was nice and fresh. We were surrounded by the family pets which are clean and well disciplined. We will highly recommend it as the Eagle's Nest's best lodge.
Great

Eagles Nest is a group of cottages well spaced out set in the mountains, giving stunning views across the plains, 7km from the Lodge reception. Each cottage is tastefully built around individual rocks and boulders forming part of the construction. They are fitted out well, with everything you will need, including a fully stocked mini Bar. Great for a couple of nights, but after that you might struggle to find things to do in the area.

Solitude, vastness, silence and magnificent sunsets – this is the ambience of Eagle’s Nest Lodge, a 15-minute drive from the reception.

Each of the eight chalets has been built from natural rock around a huge granite boulder and is equipped with a private bathroom, kitchenette, fireplace and its own veranda. Meals are served at the Desert Horse Inn restaurant. For self-catering guests there is mountain house ‘Geisterschlucht’ (‘Gorge of Ghosts’) 6 km from the reception): two dormitories with 12 beds each, bathroom, lounge, kitchenette and barbecue area. A camping site with ten individual sites is located 1.5 km from the reception.
