When I made this booking it said luxury accommodation I was very disappointed that this was not so. The shower door is broken, the shower was full of mould that came loose as you were showering. There was only a curtain between the bedroom and bathroom. The aircon leaked and was not cold enough and then the remote wouldn't work. We also couldn't find a remote or switch for the TV. The booking was for 2 adults and there was only 3 sugars that's not enough. I was very disappointed as price paid was not good value at all.

We had a lovely stay; the room was very cosy and relaxing. Diana was very accommodating and kind! We could check-in earlier and she provided us with refrigeration facilities. Easy to find the establishment.

The guest lodge is a beautiful made oasis after a long drive to Upington. The people are lovely and go beyond duty to help one. I would highly recommend it to all persons. Beautiful!

We had a nice, peaceful weekend , I enjoyed and I will definitely make another booking with them. They are loving and caring. I really enjoyed my stay.

This was our last stay over on a 10 day Northern Cape tour. The reception was warm and welcoming. The Orange Apple lived up to our expectations.

The people were very helpful and made us a great packed breakfast so we could leave with the sparrows the next morning.

Absolutely stunning accommodation. Superb little touches that make you feel so welcome, a sherry in your room on arrival, chocolate on the pillow with a sachet of beautiful scent. One of the only B&Bs that supplies a filter coffee machine, and cocoa as an option in your room. Lovely furniture, a comfortable bed with a snugly soft overthrow. Owner and manager very friendly and helpful. Beautiful gardens to relax in. Easy access from the N14. Would have loved to stay longer.

I was very impressed with the establishment, very friendly staff, well organized, the rooms were adequate, and the breakfast was heavenly. Pity we could only stay one day will definitely do a longer stay next time. It was my first visit to Upington, and I was bowled over. Great choice.

It was an absolute stunning stay at the Orange Apple Guest Lodge. I will recommend the place to everyone. We have never felt so homely in a guesthouse. The friendly staff were the cream on top of the cake!

I can highly recommend The Orange Apple. It is a recently opened guest house and everything is nice and new. The decor is very tasteful and attention has been given to the small details. It was great to find a proper coffee percolator in the room!
Each room has its own entrance and there is secure, off-road covered parking.
Marina was a great host and the breakfast was superb (and large!). Definitely one of the best B&Bs that I have stayed at and will return.

Poor reception, establishment did not know who we were, unprepared. Breakfast invoice not made out in our name, it was made out as 'Bikers'. They could have at least made an effort to find out our names by the next day.

A beautiful room, brand new, with luxurious linens, bar fridge, microwave, kettle. A few weak points, however, in the greeting and taking care of guests. Once a bit more experience is acquired, it should be a great place to stay.
