Our stay at House on York was beyond my expectations. The rooms are beautiful, spacious and most importantly they were clean. I would like to thank Khaya, Gavin and the rest of the staff for being so welcoming and friendly. I could go on about how amazing our stay was but one needs to experience this place for yourself to understand the amazingness that is House on York. I will be returning to this place because the service is impeccable!

the guesthouse is beautiful and quiet, I had a good rest and also enjoyed how central it is.

Once you enter the premises, you are greated by a friendly lady. High trees and many number of birds surround the property. It give the guesthouse a forest, tranquil atmosphere. It is very clean, quiet and affordable. Definitely recommending it to future guests!!

I had a great experience on this lovely facility, the room was clean and everything I needed was there on the premises. Its very close to Eastgate shopping center and restaurants on Queen Street which is so cool.

I really had such an enjoyable time with no problems at all.

House on York is a place to be, we felt at home. The host was wonderful, keeping on checking if we fine. I truly felt at home.

The welcome to the place was warm. We were assisted from the moment we stepped out of our car into our accommodation. Our bags were delivered to our room.
We were shown around and briefed on the accommodation. We were then taken around to view the place. We were given details on everything which left us with very few questions. The owner was pleasant and friendly, made us feel at home. He stopped by daily to enquire how we were doing. My kids said it was home away from home. The place was immaculate. The unit was cleaned daily. We were given attention upon request. The staff were always smiling and pleasant and helpful.
It was good value for the money we spent. I will highly recommend it to my family and friends. The owner even stopped by to bid us farewell. The check out time was great.

The hospitality that we received at the guest house was excellent along with everything else. Certainly recommended.

Friendly welcome by Khaya, Gavin and all the staff. Excellent service and facilities. Swimming pool, childrens play area, exercise equipment. Shops and restaurants nearby. 15 minutes from OR Tambo airport. I will choose House on York again next time I come to Johannesburg.

We really enjoyed our stay at House on York. Very centrally located and secure. The room and the facilities/communal area was amazing! Definitely very good value for money and I'll be recommending this place to all my friends.

The accommodation was comfortable and as my mom said, it felt like a home away from home. The owner and manager were very helpful. The house has a sufficient number of activities for both the young and old. My mom was even able to have a back massage done in the comfort of our room. My only complaint was that the dishes and utensils in the kitchen could have been cleaner but that did not stop us from cooking a meal.

Very nice atmosphere. Staff was sparse while there and non-talkative. Yard was peaceful. Good location.
