Boscia GREAT overnight
Henrikus Roesch, South Africa - Sunday, 08 December 2013
We stayed at Boscia for one night. We were received by very friendly owners even though it was late at night. They even switched on the geyser in advance. The room provided everything as advertised and is situated next to a big farm dam. Nice place to relax.

Bees!
Carla Nel, South Africa - Monday, 14 May 2012
Despite the view being absolutely breathtaking and the initial check-in fabulous, upon arrival I was informed about a swarm of bees that was smoked out of the chimney earlier that day. I thought the problem was solved but after I was there for about an hour I killed almost 30 bees with a can of doom, I felt like pest control. I've never been stung by a bee so I have no idea if I'm allergic or not. I was not informed of the bees before arrival and it's not as if they moved in over night. It is a dangerous situation and when I asked to rather be accommodated elsewhere due to the bee problem it wasn't handled in a professional manner. The owners got angry that I wanted to cancel and then I had to stand and listen to them thinking I have a fear of insects. I personally believe there is a huge difference between two bees lost in the house and a swarm living in the chimney. So after I asked my money back due to the situation at the premises (not my problem) I was informed that I still have to pay a cancellation fee of 25%! I feel this is really unprofessional and if it wasn't for the swarm of bees I wouldn't have cancelled. They could have at least informed me about this problem earlier before arrival so that I could have changed my plans. I still haven't received any money from them. Very unprofessional and I feel betrayed, like they hid the problem so that they could still at least get my cancellation fee money.
Peaceful

Netjiese 'hotelletjie' in die bosse. So rustig, pragtige uitsig, lieflike fasiliteite en wonderlike gasheer. Neat little hotel in the bush. So peaceful, with beautiful views and lovely facilities.
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Getting into the country air made a nice change. Very relaxing and peaceful...great for someone who comes from a big city. The chalet was clean and the beds comfortable. Gert was also a good host, made sure we were comfortable and that all was ok.
Unforgeable stay
Deidre Porthen, South Africa - Tuesday, 06 May 2008
I love travelling throughout South Africa and have stayed on farm lands before, but I must say that my stay at Boscia far exceeds them all! The serene environment and neat cottage, made this a most pleasant stay. Gert is such a friendly and hospitable person and I have already recommended Boscia to friends, even some living close by in Oudshoorn! Thank you so much for an unforgeable stay.
Very, very nice.

The cabin is beautiful, and lots of thought went into meeting guests' needs. Owners are extremely friendly and helpful. We felt very much at home, and would recommend the place to anyone visiting the Klein Karoo and the Garden route.
Really welcome
