Our room was a nice size and clean. We enjoyed walking around the farm and the peace and quiet.

A warm welcome from the team and a spotless comfortable room (No.11). Gorgeous lush surroundings and perfect to explore with our Golden Retriever, who couldn't resist a swim in the dam. We also travel with our cats and they were completely safe in our room. Dinner was a delicious lamb bredie and we were excited to see boerewors on the plate for breakfast. Egte boerekos... Shopping at the padstal is essential. We bought olive oil and lamb chops and possibly the best boerwors ever....

Quiet and peaceful farm surroundings. Very friendly reception and staff in general. Some furnishings require attention and TLC.

Olive Grove Farm is absolutely magical. The setting, service, and the food are first class. The owners and their young son made us feel as if we were in our own home. We'll be back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Olive Grove. The staff were warm, welcoming and very helpful. The 3 course Karoo Lamb main meal was deliciously prepared. We also enjoyed their Olive Paste (for sale).

Actually there were not one thing that stand out. Wonderful people and delicious food. We enjoyed the walking trails, lots of birds, etc. We slept over 2 nights to enjoy the stay more.

I stopped over at Olive Grove Guest Farm on my trip from Jhb to Cape Town. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the accommodation and the really excellent service and would happily visit again. The room was a good size and nicely furnished. The farm is attractive and the guest areas inviting. I enjoyed dinner but found the limited choices for breakfast a bit disappointing but that did not detract from the excellent impression I had overall.

What a wonderful experience we had during our stay there. Staff VERY friendly and helpful.... excellent service. A place that must be visited for a stay....

We stopped for an evening from Bloemfontein to CPT, was everything we needed to break the trip. Very friendly and helpful hosts.

It was our second visit and as good as the first even though there had been a change of ownership.It was quiet and relaxing after a long day's drive and we so enjoyed sitting on our veranda in the late afternoon. The bird life and views over the olive groves to the mountains were wonderful.

From the moment I drived into the farm I could see the love and feel the warm heart welcoming of the staff on the farm!! I wish I could stay a week!!!

We overnighted in one of the self catering cottages at the Olive Grove Guest farm for the second time. The place has a lot of facilities, including the trails, which keep the kids happy. Its distance from town ensures quiet and peaceful sleep, but you must buy everything you need in town before proceeding to the farm.

We overnighted at this lovely olive farm on the N12 just outside Beaufort West on our way to PE.
We booked a self catering unit and did not eat in the restaurant.We were provided with wood and fire starter for our braai and really enjoyed the setting, particularly the amazing stars.There was a waxing moon with Venus in all her glory just to the left of the moon.Stunning.
The Porcupine trail is lovely to walk- good shoes necessary and some minor inclines.
We bought a number of their olive products in the shop.
Overall a great place to stopover or weekend.

Olive Grove Guest Farm is a beautifull & well equiped. My family enjoyed our stay & the food were top class.  I would definitely recommend it to others.

This was our last stop on our road trip before heading home back to CPT. A little unexpected but welcomed luxury at a very good price. Dinner was superb as well as breakfast. Warm friendly staff, the owner even took the time to chat to us twice to ensure we were enjoying our stay. We highly recommend this establishment and will be back  to this well hidden gem :-)

We stayed at Olive Grove for just one night en route from the Cape.  We were pleasantly surprised by how accommodating they were upon a change of booking and how well they communicate!  Clean, neat unit with everything you need.  Lovely place for the scottie to run around and explore, with a stunning sunset too!  I would recommend this guest farm to anyone looking for a comfortable overnight stay during a long journey.

I can only say good things about Olive Grove. It is a peaceful place.The management and staff are friendly and helpful.The accommodation is comfortable and clean. The food was delicious "home cooked" style. One night was not enough and I plan to go for a longer visit next time I am in that part of the country. .

Loved this place! Everything so clean and tidy and the most friendly service ever. Breakfast is a real treat. I will definitely recommend staying here then any other place in the area!

What an oasis in the barren Karoo! It was great to experience the tranquility of the area from such a well equipped house! The facilities in the house are in such a good state and nothing is amiss. What a pleasure it was to stay at Olive Grove. The location and facilities was impeccable. We enjoyed every single moment at this Guest Farm - even the owner were hospitable enough to bring us a snack way after dinner whilst we are having a nightcap (and starving). No rush or pressure was put forward when we had to check out! Service like this hard to find and there's many accommodation facilities that can learn a thing or 2 from Olive Grove. Would certainly recommend to anyone wanting to overnight or stay a while in Beaufort West. Have a look out for the olives and related products on sale!

Great place to break your trip, wonderfully relaxing with a friendly and casual atmosphere. Food was good; honesty bar was well priced and olive products worth trying out.

olive Grove was in a lovely setting, conveniently close to the highway. The rooms were well appointed and the lamb shanks were the best ever!

Very big olive and game farm and very well kept. Friendly and helpful owners. Nice house with 2 bedrooms, bathroom with their own olive soap, shampoo etc. Complete kitchen. braai and nice "stoep". Wifi in lobby and restaurant. Pity we couldn't stay longer.

As always we really enjoyed our stay - just too short. Everything is excellent, from reception to dinner, great rooms and breakfast. A special mention of Stella's lamb shank - it was very tasty - excellent.

We have stayed there often as a Karoo stop-over on the way to and back from holidays. Beautiful place, nice clean good value accommodation. Pleasant restaurant and Boma. We will continue to stay there whenever passing though Beaufort West

We were so glad we booked (even that we were sceptical about travelling outside Beaufort west...as it is sometimes easier in town. We DID appreciate the fact that they could accomodate us with Dinner when we arrived...that was so Great...as we only had bokkoms and gemmerkoekies in our car!

Great B&B. Situated 20 km outside of Beaufort West. Active olive farm. Great hospitality. Fabulous dinner. Great olive tapenade and springbok pie! The owners have created a hike over the farm. This is accompanied by a little book with information about the farm and flora.

Great place down a 2 km dirt road so nice and quiet with no passing traffic or noise from the national road. First class dinner and good breakfast.

I would recommend this establishment. The lady at the reception was absolutely wonderful, she made us feel at home and was very helpful and made a lot of suggestions for things to do in the area. Breakfast and dinner was very good.

With our guide dog - received in a warm and friendly way. Excellent food, alovely Karoo walk 6h00 in the morning. Lovely experience. Will definitely make it a pitstop.

What a nice little surprise! We found the Olive Grove Guest Farm a very nice surprise. It is located about 15 km from Beaufort West, but worth every km to drive to. The staff were friendly, helpful and attentive. The food was excellent and our cottage perfect! If you are traveling between Johannesburg (North) and Cape Town, this is the perfect mid-point to stop at. Our family will definitely be staying here again!

What a great place! We were blown away by the standard of the accommodation and the beautiful surroundings. You get sooo much for your money, unbelievable value. My husband, daughter and I had the privilege of staying overnight while en route to Cape Town from Pretoria. The reception we received made us feel at home instantly. The food was excellent and the accommodation in the suites was comfortable and clean.

Stayed for one night. The Guest Farm is very well managed. Dinner and breakfast are good value for money.

This was our second stayover and as previously experienced we really enjoyed our stay .The quite and clean surroundings was really an bonus , then also the well prepared food was really tasteful and enjoyable . We will definitely make use of the facilities in future .

Stayed at the Grove overnight on our journey to Stellenbosch. We were so impressed by the facilities and the hospitality of our hosts that we decided to stay there on our way back to Pretoria. This was not part of our initial travel plan but an on the spur decision rather late in the afternoon on our return trip. A quick cell call confirmed that a room was available. We arrived at about 21h00 that evening and found a friendly staff member waiting for us. Excellent service and great meals. The Grove is now our preferred stopover to the Cape.and plan to spend a more prolonged stay there there on our next trip.

The three days spent at this guest farm was wonderful. It was a wonderful part of our honeymoon. The accommodation at the guest farm was great. The room was well decorated, well furnished and spotless. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The food was wonderful, true South African cuisine. The guest house even prepared their braai facilities for our use, with well prepared food and attention to detail on our second night. On request we received a packed breakfast for an early morning game drive into the Karoo National Park. Although this is a working farm we didn't have any disturbance from any of the farm workers during our stay. If you do stay at this farm, do buy some of their great produce. In my opinion their olives and olive oil taste better then the products you buy at Woolworths. I would recommend to anyone making the trip from the Cape back to Johannesburg to stop over in Beaufort West, but don't stay in the town.

We were warmly welcomed by Rona and the dogs and the room was lovely. However I was disappointed by the food - in general I found it overcooked and overseasoned. It certainly did not live up to the pictures on the website.

The units were immaculate in cleanliness and fittings, much like a home from home, would have liked it to be a little more rustic, regardless the stay was very nice and the evening meal excellent. Would recommend that a visit would not be complete without a sundowner on the top of the Porcupine Trail. Purchased many Olive products for home use.

Our Stay at Olive Grove Farm was really special. The host and hostess are really lovely people, the food was superb and the chalet was more than comfortable. We highly recommend Olive Grove Farm and will definitely stay there again
