About Woolly Bugger Farm

Set in the idyllic Tonteldoos Valley, Woolly Bugger Farm covers 270 hectares of rugged terrain with roaming zebra, red hartebeest, blesbok, hares, a resident fish eagle and a few elusive jakkals.

The farm is every fisherman’s dream with two large dams. 1 stocked with rainbow trout and the other mixed dam stocked with bass, carp and trout. Guests may walk or ride on the nature trails that cover the expanse of the farm.

The Ginger Quill Cottage offers accommodation for four guests in two double bedrooms, with the option for a further two adults or four children to be accommodated on two double sleeper couches in the lounge.

Sedgehog cottage offers accommodation for four guests with one bedroom downstairs and a loft upstairs. Folding glass doors open up the whole cottage to spectacular views.

Blue Dunn Cottage offers accommodation for four guests in two double bedrooms, with the option for a further two adults or four children to be accommodated on two bunk beds in an alcove off the lounge.

Three cosy stone cottages are ideal for two. Half Hog, Marabou and Royal Wulff

Each open-plan cottage has a kitchen as well a private bathroom. A fireplace keeps the cottage warm in winter and a portable braai is available on the patio.

The chalets are a decent distance from one another making it nice and private. The manager was available at any time if we had any problems. The walking trails were lovely with plenty of space to explore. The whole feel of the place is so peaceful and relaxed, what a wonderful weekend!

Only critique I had was maybe some candles for power outages, there were two lanterns but some candles would of also been good, or maybe there is none because of fire hazard.

We loved the beautiful scenery, the peacefulness. The cottage was equipped with everything we needed and was neat and clean.

Newly build houses. We had a water leak in the bathroom which I did report to the owner. The dirt road to the farm is terrible. We have 4 damaged mags and a blown tire due to that dirt road.
