About Woolly Bugger Farm

Set in the idyllic Tonteldoos Valley, Woolly Bugger Farm covers 270 hectares of rugged terrain with roaming red hartebeest, blesbok, hares, a resident fish eagle and a few elusive jakkals.

The farm is every fly fisherman’s dream with two large trout dams. Its name Woolly Bugger is derived from a special type of fly used to fish trout. Guests may walk or ride on the nature trails that cover the expanse of the farm.

The Ginger Quill Cottage offers accommodation for four guests in two double bedrooms, with the option for a further two adults or four children to be accommodated on two double sleeper couches in the lounge.

Sedgehog cottage offers accommodation for four guests with one bedroom downstairs and a loft upstairs. Folding glass doors open up the whole cottage to spectacular views.

Blue Dunn Cottage offers accommodation for four guests in two double bedrooms, with the option for a further two adults or four children to be accommodated on two bunk beds in an alcove off the lounge.

The Half Hog is a cosy stone cottage, that is ideal for two. The open-plan cottage has a kitchen as well a private bathroom. A fireplace keeps the cottage warm in winter and a portable braai is available on the patio.

The cottages with a view over the fishing ponds made it absolutely a fantastic place to relax. I have had a most enjoyable time fly fishing. The information privide on the webb site are spot on. Thanks

Lovely cottages - well equipped and clean. Enjoyed the hikes, the 4x4 track to the top of the world and the lack of cellphone signal. A complete breakaway from our busy lives. Will definitely be back.

Neat, quiet, stunning view, such accommodating owners. Like a holiday home. Our little Scottish terrier loved the space. Units are far enough from each other for privacy. We stayed in Sedehog. Very nicely designed and open to great conversation over a warm crackling braai.
