About Vastrap Guest Farm
This farm has been owned by the family since 1942. Today it is still a sheep farm however, due to its location half-way between Namibia and South Africa, it lends itself to be the ideal stopover for travellers.
Vastrap Guest Farm offers six en-suite rooms with air-conditioning and the rooms are equipped with fans and heaters. Breakfast, dinner and lunch are available on request. Guests can enjoy the large swimming pool and a bar and a braai area are available to guests.
Vastrap Guest Farm also offers day trips around the farm. Something unique at Vastrap is that it is still a fully functional sheep farm and guests are welcome to accompany the farmer on his daily farming activities. 4x4 Drives can also be enjoyed.
A shuttle service to and from Upington and Keetmanshoop are available on request.
Here you will experience the peace and tranquillity of a Namibian farm, and recharge your batteries before resuming your journey.
Family friendly: Vastrap is a family farm in a semi-desert southern part of Namibia. To ralax and recharge body and soul or for children to run free , Vastrap will be the ideal spot to stay over even on the coldest winter night or hottest summer day
