About Thorn Tree Bush Camp - Accommodation
Thorn Tree Bush Camp is 4 star graded (TGCSA) and located inside the Dinokeng Game Reserve in Hammanskraal, Gauteng, is for the true nature lover where you can enjoy the tranquility of nature, where the stars are brighter at night, where lion roars, jackal bark, bush babies cry, owls screeches and the insects sing and much more are often heard at night.
We have 12 Tented Bush Camps ranging from 2 - 8 sleepers. We also have 6 Bush Campsites at the main camp and 6 Off Grid Campsites for self sufficient campers in a un-fenced part of the park.
For those who like a more relaxed stay, where you can get closer to the sounds of nature, we have the Fever Tree Tent which accommodates 2 adults and 2 young children.
Then for those of you that like a breakaway with your friends and/or family, we have the Wag-'n-Bietjie tented camp for you, it can accommodate 8 people.
If you do not want to share or have a big group, book the whole camp.
Get away from the hustle and bustle of busy city life, enjoy a 'braai' under the stars with the sounds of the wild surrounding you, or take a game drive to view the BIG 5. Enjoy our beautiful sunrises and sunsets that colour the skies above with a pallet of brilliant colours.
