Décor, cleanliness and friendliness of staff

Martin de Beer

Well, nothing was really wrong with the place, it just did not conform to the images of clean wooden floors, upmarket dining and ocean views. It was dark, old, badly stained carpet in the room and cheap and nasty dining area. The sea view was over a military encampment that has seen better days and the whole place needed an upgrade. Not a problem in and of itself but the cost of a nights stay was the same as far nicer establishments, with modern finishes and cleaner floors, better views, etc. Over priced for what was effectively a downtown old pub with some dodgy rooms upstairs.
