About Riverhouse - Velddrif

Set on the banks of the Berg River in Velddrif, the Riverhouse offers luxury West Coast accommodation for up to six guests.

Velddrif, which started off as a small fishing community, is a popular destination for family holidays, fishing trips, water sport events and much more.

My second visit and as brilliant as the first. Nothing better than to watch the birds, fishermen and locals walking their dogs. Everyone is so friendly. A glass of wine watching the sky turn amazing colours in the evening...what more can you want?

We had an absolutely fabulous time. Thank you Helena for sharing your beautiful home with it's awesome views of the River Harbour. It was amazing waking up to the smell of fresh air and chirping birds. Our only regret was having to leave so soon. We will however be making a trip back and hopefully for a much longer stay!
