Wood and braai facilities are available. No electricity at camp site. Situated on the banks of the river, campers can enjoy fishing, swimming and canoeing or some birdwatching.

I loved the fact that ice and wood can be purchased on site. The ablution facilities were sparkly clean and were cleaned regularly throughout the day. The campsites are big and have a generous amour of space between them. The grass was well kept and made for a pleasurable camping experience.

It was an enjoyable stay. The camping sites are quite spacious, everything is neat and the ablution block is kept clean. However its capacity is rather equivocal - would 2 female toilets and 1 shower + 2 male toilets and 1 shower be enough when the camp is fully booked? During our stay the camp was only half occupied and we did not have a problem with the ablution. The staff is nice and caring - they visited us daily to find out if we need wood and ice. There is a small play ground for kids. There are boats for the use of campers and organised river cruises as well.

I will not visit this campsite again, the behaviour of the guest where disgusting, foul language, violence and to top it off they were not evicted from the campsite which they should of been. To top it off, the campsite was robbed on new years.
