If you want privacy, quiet, no traffic noise, access to wonderful walks and a short drive from the sea and shops, and clean, comfortable and well equipped accomodation with delightful hosts - then you cannot do better then this. The access path for luggage is a little tight if you are wobbly on your feet, and there are wonderful trees but no views.

Placid Pines is a lovely place to stay. We loved the quiet and felt like we were staying in the middle of a forest. It was safe, clean and had everything that we needed. We will definitely be back.
