Smithy’s Chapel seats 120 guests and we have a poolside gazebo. We also offer horse and carriage hire and photographic gardens. Halliwell Country Inn is ideal for any celebrationAttractions include art galleries, restaurants, craft shops and so much more.

Old building quaint, grounds stunning, staff friendly......our room "tired", needs fireplace like we saw most other rooms offer! Don't go for a dinner if you're rushed, here you need to "chill", relax and enjoy company at your table!

We spent one evening at Old Halliwell for a wedding in the area. The staff were friendly and accommodating. Our room was spacious but a bit tired in its furnishings: the white sueded couches and carpets peppered with burn marks and coal smudges from the fireplace and the bathroom in need of some re-modelling.Breakfast also left much to be desired: with a very limited cold buffet (curdled-looking yoghurt and some muesli) and a very greasy fry-up. One doesn't have to have a huge selection of food but some fresh fruit and some pastries would go down well. The room served its purpose of a comforta...
