About Neuras Wine and Wildlife Estate

Neuras Wine and Wildlife Estate is an oasis set on the edge of the Namib Desert and is unique in its combination of wine production and landscape conservation.

We offer rustic accommodation in stone built chalets, resting in the shadows of the indigenous acacia and ebony trees.

All meals are served in our welcoming and homely restaurant. Here guests can indulge in a menu of refined simplicity which includes locally inspired flavours paired with a selection of Neuras and other award winning wines.

Paired with your taste, presented with passion, guests can be assured of an unforgettable culinary experience, in breath-taking surroundings, matched by the finest wine Namibia can offer.

There is a swimming pool for cool dips after a hot day in the desert and Sun downers can be enjoyed at the Honey Canyon. Pleasant short walks amongst the trees and along the dry river bed or to the springs can be undertaken at one's leisure.

Neuras Wine and Wildlife Estate extends southwards from the top of the majestic Naukluft Mountains and offers tourists an incredible opportunity to experience a variety of free roaming wildlife amid its 14,400 hectares.

Neuras was in a beautiful location with a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere created by the staff. The food was delicious. The views and nearby canyon walk were lovely - a great couple of nights at the start of our trip

We enjoyed our stay and found that the staff were very friendly and accommodating. The food was good and the room comfortable. The wine that was made on the estate was excellent although fairly expensive, but considering that everything was made by hand and under difficult conditions, this was not surprising. The estate is situated in some stark but very picturesque countryside and is a convenient place to stay on the way to Swakopmund/Walvis Bay.
