For what I was paying, I was expecting a room with a kitchenette and a bathroom. When I got there, Helena greeted us and told us that the place was open we just had to go on it, so I just went on in to a whole frikken house. 3 bedrooms, a lounge, a kitchen a bathroom, and outside braai area and peace and quite. They don't explain how much room there is. I was happily surpised.

We had a glorious three nights at Muggefontein. I wish we could've stayed longer! The location is amazing: so peaceful and quiet, with no cell phone reception. We took long walks on the farm and went on picnics. Our two small boys loved being able to walk anywhere and everywhere. The house was lovely and comfortable and warm, despite it being the middle of winter.Helena made us feel so welcome. I highly recommend visiting Muggefontein.

We had a great time and will come back again. My 3-year-old loved the open spaces. Lovely spot and people.
