PLEASE NOTE: we are NOT able to provide any pensioner or other discount via the SANParks online booking system.

Rates are subject to the number of adults and children staying. Adult rates apply to persons 12 years and older. Child rates apply to persons aged 2-11 years. Infants under 2 years stay free.

Rates do not include meals unless specifically indicated otherwise. Rates include 1% Community Levy, but exclude daily conservation fees. These are to be paid directly to camp on arrival.

SANParks have implemented a 1% Community Levy charge on all reservations (overnight and activity products) from 1 June 2012. This will be used to fund projects that support surrounding communities in bettering their livelihoods.

All accommodation, ablution and kitchen facilities are serviced by cleaning staff on a daily basis unless specifically indicated otherwise.

Several parks and rest-camps have retail facilities and restaurants. Vehicle fuel is available in several parks (or is available on the park periphery) and in the main rest camps in Kruger and Kgalagadi.

Bedding is supplied in all accommodation unless specifically indicated otherwise. Cooking utensils and refrigeration are provided in most accommodation units, unless specifically indicated otherwise.

We had such a lovely stay at this campsite. The camp was beautifully clean and neat and every site had something special about it. Listening to the bird life and the sounds of nature at night was incredible. The camp was fully occupied every night and we didn't have trouble washing our dishes, showering or going to the bathroom once. The drives around both parts of the park were incredible and... The campsite is beautiful. It was clean an well kept. The staff members were all very competent and friendly. The only frustration was the lack of hand wash soap in the ablution facility. The one was empty and the other one was not in a working condition.The shower head in the facility for disabled persons needs serious attention.

The reception went smoothly, but coming from Polokwane you had to travel 20 odd kilos back ton the same road to get to the camping site. We ran out of water on both mornings so showering was a bit difficult and the staff arrive to late to attend to the problem in time. The rest 110%

A wonderful bush getaway where you feel safe but are totally immersed in the bush. Amenities are basic but have everything you need. Friendly and helpful staff make this an effortless experience. Compliments to Cedric for a wonderful historical interesting tour of the Mapungubwe Archaeological site. Definitely a highlight of our time there.
