Mara River Lodge has 78 rooms and two deluxe suites of two bedrooms each, with views of the Mara River from the private veranda. The rooms are decorated in vibrant Maasai colors with bright fabrics and rugs. Timber beams support the thatched roof that keeps the rooms warm in the cool Mara evenings
All the rooms are well-furnished and feature wooden floor boards and African print bedding. Each room is fitted with an air-conditioner, tea making facilities, a wardrobe, and features an en suite bathroom.
Mara River Lodge has a restaurant styled with open walls that allow guests soak up the beautiful views of the Mara River while dining. Local and continental dishes are served and the lodge also organizes sun-downers and bush dinners on request. Guests can order a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks from the bar which can be enjoyed by the poolside.
Facilities include non-frill spa with massage, curio shop, swimming pool, bar and dining area. Airport pickup and laundry services are available at a surcharge. Parking facilities are available and the premises are guarded by security personnel. Mara River Lodge is in close proximity to Mara North Airstrip and a 1-hour drive from Rhino Sanctuary.
