Away from the daily buzz of town to the tranquitally of the Lowveld at Mackers. The host left one in a comfortable space while the bushveld and river sounds drained out the town buzz. Ryan's team secured us at night and the facilities and grounds was promptly looked after.

We enjoyed 3 most wonderfully peaceful days at Mackers Riverbend. The setting is so very beautiful and tranquil, a bird lovers paradise and it was great to be away from all electronics. The ablution blocks were clean and there was hot water although some of the systems did not work that well, but I am sure that will be looked into.
