Mackers is situated on a farm, perched on a hill above the Sabie River and nestled among indigenous bush teeming with birdlife. The farm is 17 km from Hazyview and 30 km from Sabie, on the R536. The three private cottages are well appointed and fully equipped for self-catering requirements. The cottages are serviced at a nominal rate of R50 per day, if required (on request), with all linen and towels provided. Each cottage has its own braai facility in the garden.Self catering camping SAFARI TENTS and camping on the Sabie river is now also part of Mackers; sites are shady and grassed, but do not have electricity.Enjoy the peaceful and idyllic scenery while taking a walk to the Sabie River below, or enjoy cycling through the forests. Mackers is home to the sought-after Narina Trogon and many different species of beautiful Kingfishers, which are easily spotted along the Sabie River at the foot of Riverbend Farm.In the midst of the Panorama Route, The Kruger National Park is just 24 km away and can be entered through the Phabeni, Paul Kruger or Numbi gates.
The rate of R100 for the camp sites are for the first four people and additional guests up to six, pay R75 each.
