Only 5km (3.1 miles) from the Twee Rivieren gate of the Kgalagadi National Transfrontier Park, Kgalagadi Lodge offers the perfect affordable, alternative to staying in the national park. Our clean, fresh, modern style chalets and camping compliment the area.

We have a wide range of accommodation suitable for all guests, these include Luxury, Family, Standard, Business, Luxury Camp Chalets and Campsites each with own ablution. All chalets have air-conditioning, DSTV and outside braai facilities.

The lodge offers a shop with groceries, fresh fruit and vegetables, freshly baked bread, butchery, restaurant with mouth-watering meals, traditional South African Kalahari dishes with a modern twist.

It was just what we expected close to the park a good restaurant with friendly staff room was value for money of what we had only thing customers need to be made aware that only x number of day trippers can go in we were just very lucky that we got in 4 of our 5 days Thanks again all..

I had to cancel the reservation , even by email and reqested the funds paid to be credited or kept till future needs, I till date have not reserved a response or communication???Please adviceJohan

The hotel is conveniently located just a few km before the Tweerivieren entry, on a dune overlooking the road. Nice sunrise!Take care when arriving late: the reception and the restaurant close pretty early. Two downsides: the hotel is rather new (which is OK for the rooms) and has a restaurant without ambiance. Which leads to the second point: loud music... in such a tranquile setting! Pity.

We spent 2 nights here recently as we could not get accommodation in the Kgalagadi Park. We found the staff to be very friendly & efficient & we were most fortunte to be upgraded to a lovely 2 bedroomed unit on the hill. The view from these cottages is lovely & is very peaceful rural scene. The cottages are very well stocked for self catering & we even found a lovely coffee machine available, some olive oil & salt & pepper, The little shop is very well stocked with lovely fresh bread, groceries, some fresh fruit & veg.We ate at the restaurant one evening. loved the room décor ,especially use of natural materials such as wood. Unfortunately l think they skimped on quality mattresses and ours was subsiding with a hole in the middle!!!
