About Junior-Suite Merlot

Our brand new 65 squaremeter apartment is positioned on the first floor of the 2018 constructed double-storey guesthouse. Enjoy the mountain setting of the back slope of Table Mountain.

The fascinating two-room-apartment has one bedroom with an en-suite bathroom; walk-in shower, long bath tub. The bedroom is equipped with a double bed (king-size, two separate mattresses in extra length) and a beautiful wooden wardrobe and sideboard. The lounge with a fully fitted open-plan kitchen has a big window and a sliding door (both three-meter width) and leads to a beautiful balcony/terrace with outdoor furniture and UV-heater. From here our guests can enjoy a stunning view of the garden/swimming pool and the mountain. Both lounge and bedroom are fitted with a strong aircon-system.

The new kitchen is fully equipped with modern quality appliances, such as a big fridge/freezer-combo, induction stove and extractor, microwave oven and sink.

Golf: Just around the corner: The Steenberg Golf Club, 18-hole championship course. Other excellent Golf Courses are not so far away from us, as the likes of West Lake Golf Club (10km), Royal Cape Golf Club (5km) and Clovelly Golf Club (15km).

Check-In: 2:00pm (earliest) until 8h00pm (latest).
Check-Out: 8:00am (earliest) until 11:00am (latest)

Late Check-In or early Check-Out is generally possible but has to be pre-arranged, latest the day prior to arrival/departure! If the guest hasn't checked-in until 20h00pm and no special arrangement is in place, the booking is qualified as a "no-show".

If the guest hasn't checked-out until 11h00pm and no special arrangement is in place, the booking is extended by one day which is subject to a charge (50% daily rental)!
 
In case of emergency (accident, flight delay etc.) the guest must let us know the circumstances on the phone and in writing (SMS, WhatsApp, Email) without delay.
 
Guest should arrange enough time for the "Check-In Procedure" we have to go through:

SIGNATURES must be made on
1. the completed check-in form by all guests to whom a set of keys is to be handed over,
2. Confirmation of debiting the deposit from the credit card at the time.

COPIES must be made
1. from the credit card and ID card/passport of the person who made the booking
2. from the identity card/passport of all our adult guests (only from one person per couple)

CASH PAYMENT
1. A deposit of R1,500.00, which will be refunded on the day of departure, provided that no damages are found.
2. The final cleaning fee of R400.00, unless this has already been paid in advance together with the deposit.

AVAILABLE AREAS:
Swimming pool and garden in front of the swimming pool with swing bench, metal seating group next to the swimming pool and stone seating group with braai facilities within the flowerbeds can be used by our guests. The upper part of the garden is allocated to the guests of Cottage Cabernet. This also applies to the terrace under the pergola directly next to the Junior-Suite Pinotage which can only be used by guests occupying this unit. The two seating areas between Main House and Cottage Cabernet behind the swimming pool are private and exclusively allocated to the owners of Constantia Cottages.
