About Grootvadersbosch Farm
Grootvadersbosch Farm offers a comfortable guest house named Snelsetter, built in 1735, this historic homestead is largely maintained in its original state. Our farm offers a great opportunity for visitors to see agriculture and nature working side by side.
Snelsetter consists of five en-suite rooms; with handcrafted yellowwood ceilings and furnished in old Cape style. There is a large lounge area with a fireplace and beautiful views of the Langeberg Mountain. Make use of the fully equipped kitchen for self-catering purposes, with tea and coffee facilities available at all times.
Breakfast is served in the dining room or you can choose to help yourselves, while dinner can be enjoyed with your hosts at the old homestead.
Take a dip in the small splash pool in the garden, which has plenty of shaded places to relax. There are many walking trails on the farm and mountain-bike routes.
