About George Backpackers
George Backpackers is ideally situated in the heart of George, a charming town along the Garden Route.
The backpackers comprises of five rooms, of which two rooms have three bunk beds, one room with two bunk beds for four guests; one room with two single beds; and one room with either two single or one king-size bed. There are two showers and two separate toilets. The backpacker also offers guests a communal kitchen, a reception area with DStv, a tranquil garden, and Wi-Fi Internet access.
George is in the Heart of the Garden Route and offers itself as the central point to start your Garden Route activities from Oudtshoorn to Mossel Bay, Wilderness, Knysna and Plettenberg Bay. In George itself are plenty activities on offer from a visit to the George Museum, the Botanical Garden with the unique Cape Floral Kingdom, and the Outeniqua Farmers Market on a Saturday.
