After reviewing the wbsite and then deciding on Gecko Ridge with our two boys aged 10 and 12, we were given an unfinished cottage with only one open planned room! The two boys were offered a small sleeper couch. They were able to bring in another bed, but this is certainly now what is put on there website. Make sure you check which cottage you get as we were not told anything about this when we booked, so were certainly not happy!

we were a party of four, one of whom was blind.  We were made so welcome and nothing was too much for the owner and staff.  The setting was an oasis in the middle of the desert.  The house was exquisite, everything provided was of good quality and clean.  A very friendly place to stay and would certainly book again if we get the opportunity to make our way to Namibia again.  Thank you Zandre. We stayed for two nights as part of a 29 day planned trip from South Africa, Botswana, Zambia and then into Namibiai,  Gecko Ridge guest house was most certainly one of our top five bed and breakfast accom...

I'm not sure what we expected before we went on holiday here, nor what we expected as we came up to the security entrance gate, but what we found was utterly beyond our expectations. Jemimah and her colleagues laid on a 5-star meal for us that first night that would have fed an army. She and her friend took the time to sit and talk to us about absolutely everything. We had a bungalow near the main house which was modern virtually new! Good TV, WiFi and good facilities. The place was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. The bungalow was a good size, with a nice view and a visit from...

A huge thank you to Zander and his team at Ghecko Ridge for making our stay there such an enjoyable one. One can really see that they put a lot of effort and love into the guest house and camping sites and it pays off! We loved our time there and really enjoyed the peace and quiet. Great place!!
