About Forest View Lodge

Forest View Lodge is a uniquely designed and spacious bed and breakfast or self-catering accommodation establishment. It has a relaxing atmosphere with non-smoking en-suite rooms overlooking the 250-hectare indigenous Dlinza Forest which is home to 132 tree species and more than 65 bird species.

We offer six well equipped en-suite bedrooms which are separate from the main house. Each room has a TV with DStv, a fan, a minibar and tea and coffee facilities. We have secure under cover parking and the property is completely fenced with security gates for your peace of mind. Continental and English breakfasts are served and these include home-made bread with jams, fruit salads and yoghurt. Dinner can be arranged on request.

The evergreen, park-like garden contributes to the homely feeling on arrival. The famous South African Aerial Boardwalk is situated in the Dilinza Forest which is approximately 3 km away. Forest View Lodge is perfectly situated as your base for visits to historical sites such as the Zululand Historical Museum, Fort Nonquai and of course the Dilinza Forest. Eshowe has four restaurants and many fast food outlets. The nearest swimming beach is 30 km away.
