Unfortunately we did not know in advance that this was a hunting lodge so the knowledge that this was a carnivore's den spoiled the pleasure of staying there. Also the roads are atrocious and surely must be the worst in South Africa. The tarred roads have just fallen to pieces. Even in our Defender Landrover we had to drive at 5 to 10 kph at times.

Very welcoming and cozy. Chalets were neat and facilities were great. Had a great time sitting by the fire bit looking up at the stars. Will definitely be back and recommend it.
