Important Information

On Arrival:
After we have received full payment (if any outstanding fees) you will receive a permit to enter the resort. You have to show the permit to security when entering and/or leaving the resort. Always keep your entry permit in your car and show it to security at the gate when leaving or returning. If any person or persons are expected to arrive later during your stay, you must provide us with a name list and expected time of arrival for these people. You must pay for them beforehand, and we will hand them their permit on arrival. If their name isn’t on the list, they will not be allowed into the resort without making full payment for their visit. All vehicles must receive a separate permit.

TV in Lodges:
The River Lodges (Lodges 1 - 5) and Zebra Chalet 7 have TVs and satellite dishes, but please bring your own DStv decoder, smart card and remote.

Accommodation and Equipment:
On arrival: Check all equipment in the unit. Check the neatness of the chalet. If some items are missing or the chalet isn’t neat, it must be reported to reception within one hour after arrival. If you fail to report above mentioned, you will be liable for any shortages on departure. You are responsible for the service of the chalet during your stay. If you occupy more than one unit, please do not mix the two units' equipment.

On departure: Visitors must leave the chalets and lodges no later than 11:00 AM. Check the equipment and report any lost items or breakages at reception. Return the unit’s key to reception before 11:00 AM. Please leave the unit in the same condition that you found it in on arrival.

Cleaning service:
You may book a lady to clean your chalet at reception on arrival (if there is a lady available). The cost will be supplied when booking is done. The cost must be paid at reception beforehand.

Resort Regulations:
Not allowed: No music or noise is allowed. Always consider your camping neighbours when enjoying your stay, so that you both can have great memories when leaving. No pets, firearms, fireworks, motorbikes or quadbikes are allowed. No fires allowed on the ground, in dustbins or on grass. Use the supplied braai stands. Don’t take wood from the resort or break any tree.

Buildings and equipment:
Use your accommodation buildings, ablution blocks, and all other buildings with great care. Handle all our equipment with great care. Any shortages or breakages will be invoiced on departure

Use only net-type ground sheets. Make sure you put up camp within your campsite’s borders. If your camping equipment goes over onto the neighbours’ campsite, we may ask you to shift your camp when the neighbours arrive. We have ladies working overtime to help keep the ablution blocks clean. Please help them by leaving the ablution blocks clean after your visit.

We have a kiosk that sells basic goods. Soft drinks and juice, ice cream, sweets, beers and ciders, charcoal, wood, ice, fishing tackle, bait etc.

Private property:
Please stay between the borders of the resort during your visit. Do NOT climb over or through any fence into other people’s property.

The Jacuzzi only operates during kiosk hours and must be booked at the kiosk. Book your session beforehand, because the bath is refilled for every session.

All activities like white-water rafting, paintball target shooting and boat hire must be booked at reception. There is a deposit payable on the inflatable rafts. This will only be returned when the boat and equipment is returned in good condition.
