About Cloud Cottage

The Cloud Cottage is tucked away in the side of the mountain with panoramic views of the awe-inspiring surroundings. It is set on a working, organic cheese farm, and visitors are welcome to watch and get involved in the daily workings of the farm. The lifestyle is simple, comfortable and cosy with no television, oil lamps for lights, and hot water and fires to keep the cottage warm in winter.

The cottage has two bedrooms which can sleep up to six people, down duvets and cotton linen. It is fully-equipped for self-catering and contain an open-plan kitchen and living area.

Visitors are welcome to roam the farm and enjoy the tranquility of the mountains, fynbos, streams, waterfalls and rock pools.

It was magnificent to be in a setting away from the trappings of modern technology and to appreciate the beauty of nature, to read and rest and to be at peace.
