About Blyde River Wilderness Lodge
Surrounded by the tranquil Blyde River and the euphoric Drakensberg Mountains, this thatched lodge is set in a private reserve, in an area famous for its panoramic scenery, birdlife, fauna, and flora.
Accommodation comprises of six luxury double or twin bed and breakfast rooms, each with an en-suite bathroom and tea and coffee tray. There is one large self-catering rondavel with an en-suite bathroom which can sleep up to eight guests, and the self-catering King Fisher Cottage sleeps up to four guests.
Nestled on the banks of the Blyde River, the mountain lodge offers the opportunity to view the various wildlife that are attracted to the water.
All rooms are tastefully furnished, and each room leads out onto the tranquil river settings where crocodiles and hippos cruise by.
Self-catering guests are welcome to book breakfast and dinners with us to.
Cancellation fees are only levied if losses are incurred as a result of the cancellation. Should the accommodation be resold, cancellation fees will be refunded less a 5% handling fee. All reservations, amendments or cancellations are only valid if evidenced in writing by e-mail or fax.
