Getting there especially after dark was a nightmare as signpost are missing at crutial intersections closer to the cabin.

What an absolute pleasure to find this treasure in the midst of a dry Acacia forest. Such an overwhelming welcome we received on arrival and the cottage is equipped with every thing you require. The bedrooms are well furnished and the facility is spotless in all areas. The bird life and wild animal calls during the day and night were second to none. Certainly will visit again and will recommend to our friends and family. Well done to Gay and Willem on what you have achieved here.

Really had an amazing weekend. The place is superb and Willem and Gail are really great hosts! The road is a bit rough for a small car, but at least the scenery and bush makes the trip worthwhile. Will recommend it to couples, singles and even families with small children.

We had an amazing 3 nights at Blyde River Cabin. Our kids absolutely loved it and Gay was a fantastic hostess who went out of her way to make us feel welcome. The cabin catered to our every need and is well stocked and beautifully decorated. Every aspect of our stay was a highlight and we would definitely love to go again should the opportunity arise.
