Bit O’Bushveld (aka Bietjiebos) is situated in Rietfontein, Pretoria, and offers neat, cosy self-catering accommodation in a rustic environment. It is ideally suited for a business traveller, hospital visitor or an academic. It is easily accessible from the main campus of the University of Pretoria, the Tshwane University of Technology, Unisa, Loftus Versfeld Stadium and the CSIR, as well as the N1 highway. It is near three major hospitals, including Steve Biko, Eugene Marais and the Moot Hospital. The single bedroom cottage in a spacious, tree-filled yard has a travel theme and the bedroom has 2 three-quarter beds. There is a shower and a separate toilet with a basin. Arrangements can be made for children on request. Guests have access to free Wi-Fi during their stay. It has a kitchenette with basic self-catering facilities, including a 2-plate stove, microwave, fridge, coffee- and tea-making facilities, crockery and cutlery. Linen and towels are also supplied. There is a private braai area outside the front door where guests can enjoy preparing a meal together under the shade of the trees. Guests also have secure parking on the premises. The very safe suburb of Rietfontein is in the Moot area of the capital – a valley between two ridges of the Magaliesberg. It is less than 10 minutes drive from the historical Union Buildings with its huge statue of Nelson Mandela. The Wonderboom Airport (to the North) and the Hatfield Gautrain Station, which links the capital to the OR Tambo International Airport (to the South), are both approximately 15 minutes away. The N4 highway, linking Pretoria to Northwest province which hosts Sun City and the Pilanesberg Nature Reserve, is only about 10 minutes away.
